Stanley Kubrick, clearly pictured here, was a well known American film director whose work spanned over fifty years. Moving through many different genres, his films often service a broader point through compelling individual stories. He has a very memorable style in both his composition as well as his characters. His pacing is careful, and method his method might best be described as obsessive.
The name Kubrick is synonymous with the word meticulous. The filmmaker has a well established reputation for attention to detail, and that definitely comes through in his final product. He insisted on complete artistic control throughout his movies and would let nothing rush his work. The product of this perfectionism was some of the most influential films of all time.
