Double Feature needs your help! Every last penny goes directly into upkeep and upgrading the show. Well, almost every penny….greedy tyrannical Paypal takes a dollar or so cut from your donation. Anyhow, as an added incentive we’re now posting a full Lexicon of Double Feature terminology.
We discuss this new fundraising goal at length in the intro of the Piranha show. For every $6 that’s donated, a new term goes up on the site. When the entire Lexicon is live, Double Feature will use the money to fund some exciting new projects for later this year. You can donate any amount – a new term goes up for every $6 we accumulate.
Checking the Facts
Double Feature wants your donation, but we’re not going to make you feel guilty. Lots of shows will tell you they NEED your money or the show won’t be able to continue. We’d love for you to donate, but we don’t think it’s fair to to provide a free show and then demand donations. Yes, the show is expensive to produce…but we started it without funding and we’ll continue it without funding even if we’re reduce to 80s pawnshop production.
